Im about to price up screeding a garage floor and was wondering what most people use. The concrete floor that is down has been down for over 20 years and shows no sign of damp. Tjhe concrete is rough tamp lines.
The garage is going to be used as a utility room but occasionally a car will be in there.
Does anyone have any products names that work?
    thanks

    Fballs 300
Water based sets hard enough to take the weight of a car and easy to work with(for a pro anyway)

I asked if he is having a floor covering over it and he said probably not just floor paint.

You need to use the 850 then anything else will just get chipped and ruined unless you put a resin over it

And if he does decide on a vinyl covering you need to check if there's a dpm under the slab alot of garage floors dont have one even if the house does

Cheers....i will price it up on that then.
Will this be ok put down in 2 coats with primer inbetween coats?

Yes no problem just make sure the first coat is completely dry or the primer wont take
Whats the reason for two coats is it just a bit ruff ?

    Hi Kev

New to this. If The concrete is in good condition you could screed it with a stone carpet at 6mm thick using epoxy resins. It doesn't require a grout coat but if you grout it then it will also need a harder rolled on Lacquer coat to prevent black tyre marking. Try someone like Touchstone Floors in Sheffield.
