    Hi I fitted a stair carpet about a year ago underlay, gripper , and on 5 of the steps (on the riser of the stair) the carpet is wearing prematurely right were the gripper is in on the riser I've told the customer it's how there walking down the stairs ,and they said it did happen on the previous carpet. is this common .
